X Factor boy band Union J -Jaymi Hensley, Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett and George Shelley- have confessed that they have experienced a tough time trying to break the music industry.
The boys told Digital Spy they thought they might have enjoyed a smooth ride to the top after watching One Direction rise to global stardom.
The lads insisted that they will be raising their game in a bid to conquer the charts.
Jaymi Hensley said: “I think we all – ourselves included – rested on our laurels being from The X Factor and One Direction coming from the show, and just thought it might be a lot easier.
“It’s a tough industry to be in, but we always work well under pressure, so we’re going to be coming back fighting this year.”
JJ Hamblett continued: “We feel that the songs we’ve got now are a lot stronger than our last album.”
Hensley added: “I think we’re going to broaden our fan base. We’ve got an incredible team around us now.”
Well good luck boys, you deserve the success!
