Kevin Clifton has weighed-in on the same-sex couples debate surrounding Strictly Come Dancing.
The same-sex couples debate has been on going for many series now but Strictly continously declare they have no plans to change its policy on dance couples from man and woman.
However Kevin has spoked out and said he would have ‘no problem’ being paired with a man.
Clifton, who has previously paired up with the likes of Louise Redknapp, Susan Calman and Susanna Reid, was posed the question on Twitter.
A fan asked Clifton: ‘As a gay man who loves the show (and thinks you are brilliant), I’m curious where do you stand on the same sex dance partners? Would you be open to dancing with a guy if the show put that to you?’
Clifton replied: ‘Just to be clear I’m not involved in any of these decisions. But if that’s what they wanted then I’d have no problem with it.’
Strictly judges Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel-Horwood have also lent their support to the idea.
