Boyzone have joked they are planning to form a super group with the Spice Girls.
The band – made up of Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy – are heading out on their final tour in 2019 and joked they will join the ladies on their own rumoured reunion tour.
Keith quipped: “We’ve spoken to the girls – and this is an exclusive – we’re gonna do a SpiceZone, like the McBusted thing. All of them [will do it]!”
The Spice Girls reunion has been shrouded in mystery, with no definite plans in place but Ronan believes Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B will be reuniting without Victoria Beckham, and even with a reduced line-up, he thinks it will be “great” to have them back.
He said: “I believe they’re getting back without Posh and I think it’s great to have the girls back in whatever shape, the music was brilliant, it was a very important time for pop music, Take That, Boyzone and the Spice Girls, and they were a phenomenon, they were huge globally, the movement, girl power, was a brilliant thing so it will be great to have them back.”
Meanwhile, the group have promised their fans that they will get to hear everything they want to when attending their final tour.
Ronan said: “We’re giving everybody something we want, trust us, it’s not just going to be the new album.”
Shane added: “All the hits, hit after hit. As artists we understand and appreciate when people come to a gig, they want to hear the songs they know so that’s what we’re gonna concentrate on, we could timeline it in a chronological sense, we don’t really know, we haven’t planned it yet but all the big bangers will be there.”
