Sharon Osbourne has reportedly turned down an offer from Simon Cowell to judge Australia’s Got Talent.
Syco didn’t want to lose Sharon after she quit The X Factor UK and asked if she fancied a spot on the panel down under.
Although Sharon said no there are no hard feelings between the pair, and Mrs O says: ‘It’s just business’.
Speaking about Simon’s reaction to her quitting X Factor, Sharon revealed: “He just said, “OK, darling, whatever you want to do”, then his company Syco offered me a role on Australia’s Got Talent and I’ve turned that down too!
“So we’re all good. As I said, it’s just business.”
She went on to say: “I’m not desperate to be on TV. I have been offered I’m A Celebrity and Strictly many times and turned those down.”
The former judge also slammed rumours that she had been ‘paid to leave X Factor quietly’, declaring to The Sun: “I’m not going to be quiet for anyone.”
Sharon announced her departure from X Factor on social media, saying: “After watching the new season X Factor unfold, I’ve seen the new judges finding their rhythm and are doing brilliantly.
“Simon was so gracious to find me a spot on the live shows but at this point I really don’t think I’m needed and I would honestly feel odd coming in at this point. So I have decided to pass on the series this year.
“I wish the show continued success and as much as I love to get my face on TV you will have to do without me this season. Loves ya, Mrs. O.”
The current X Factor panel consists of Simon, Robbie Williams, Ayda Field and Louis Tomlinson.
